Nigel started his career working for Philips Scientific in 1986, moving to Homepride Foods in 1989, before joining his first technology company in 1991 Business Technology Consultants. Nigel gained exposure to financial, manufacturing and distribution software while Group Implementation Manager for Jeyes Group PLC in UK and Germany. Nigel moved on to Oracle, based out of Redwood Shores California in 1994 where he had many roles, ending his 22 years with the company as Vice President for Functional Architecture and Security. After leaving Oracle, Nigel was the Chief Architect and Chief Information Security Officer for PowerSchool based out of Sacramento California
