It was great to be at DevOps Notts  for their second face to face meeting post pandemic.

Hosted by the wonderful people at Rebel Recruitment, (who happen to be a valued customer of SSTC).  Loads to learn from a diverse set of delegates, roughly centered on Devops as a theme.  This month we learned about the The Wonders and Woes of Webhooks (in Kubernetes) thanks to a great presentation by Marcus Noble.  

I have to confess, it was a deeper presentation than I was prepared for, but being there gives me a sense of what is important in the dev ops community and who the experts in this field are if I need to reach out to them. 

Webhooks are used to run code as you lay down pods. Marcus and the good folks at Giant Swarm, use them to verify pods and check them for any security issues as they create and maintain environments.
