I spent some time with a company called Helapet this week. They are suppliers of clean room equipment and consumables. They have real specialization in supporting small scale formulation, where there might be a personalized drug regimen for someone going through cancer treatment.
The company has some older systems and is looking for guidance on what software might be able to support their operations as part of a Digital Upscaler review.
Tony Phelps the CEO gave me a great factory tour. You could see the strategy of the company and how it is performing against its balanced scorecard all over the facility.
You could also see the team leads, working through production issues and noting metrics and commentary all over the whiteboards covering the walls. Low tech but high visibility and high engagement.
